Grove Selected for UKTI Big Data Trade Mission to China
Grove is pleased to announce that they have been invited as one of 8 UK companies on the UKTI (UK Trade & Investment) Big Data Trade Mission to China. Accompanied by a Minister and Tim Berners-Lee, Grove will have the opportunity to understand more about the market and the BigData opportunity in China.
This will be invaluable in helping to define and develop the technology to meet the cultural and business differences and nuances that will be needed for companies in China to embrace some exciting technology that is coming out of the UK.
The companies on the delegation are all complimentary in nature. Grove’s solution focuses on Big Data Prescriptive Asset Optimisation while the other companies focus on other aspects of a BigData journey such as smart city data collection, marketing automation, and data integration.
Pip Witheridge, Grove’s CEO, said today: “Trade and technology links with China are stronger today than they’ve ever been, and I’m looking forward to discussing how Grove’s BigData Platform can service the opportunity with new contacts in the Far East. This mission represents a great opportunity for innovative UK businesses to create partnerships in new markets and Grove are proud to be a part of it.”
The other companies on the mission include: inspired-mobile.com, empello.com, smartpipesolutions.com, mastodonc.com, warwickanalytics.com, design4socialchange.com, thoughtmachine.net and systemsyncsolutions.com.
