Mix Telematics announced today that they have entered into an agreement to provide all their local and global employees (500 users in their Johannesburg office initially and a further 400 Cape Town and global office users migrating over the coming months) with the opportunity to be connected to a common e-mail, chat and calendar system (Gmail, Google Talk and Google Calendar), cloud collaboration tools (Google Docs, Google Sites, & Google Groups) and multimedia tools (Google Video for Business) that will enable them to work together and learn more effectively.
Going Google with the help of Grove Group has been very advantageous for Mix Telematics. "Google Apps will help us communicate with our staff and clients more effectively, while relieving our IT department of the traditional costs associated with email and collaboration solutions" said Hernus Vermeulen, Marketing Manager at Mix Telematics.
