Grove launch ETL tool to enhance Analytics proposition

Grove today announced that it has launched a new Extract, Transform and Load (“ETL”) tool to enhance Grove’s Big Data Prescriptive Analytics proposition.

As part of the Grove focus on Data Driven Business Applications Grove has wanted to streamline the process to get data from mobile applications into the Grove Prescriptive Analytics platform. One of the challenges that needs to be faced when running big data analytics is the quality and consistency of data that is fed into the analytics platform.

The first step in an analytics process leading to the Grove Prescriptive Analytics solution is about data cleansing and presentation before analysing and running the relevant algorithms.

The new Grove ETL tool speeds up this process – it handles datasets from any number of IoT devices, in disparate formats, and feeds the data directly for analytics processing into any SQL-compliant database. The result is faster interpretation, analysis and reporting of results.

Grove have run Prescriptive Analytics and Prescriptive Applications for customers around the world streamlining operations and enhancing operations.
