Grove’s Global Partners Google, Mimecast, Okta and Acer named Gartner 2017 MQ Leaders

Why customers trust Grove with cloud platform collaboration and advanced email management.

At Grove, we know if you want to be the best, you’ve got to work with the best. In the digital economy, transformation is a priority for organisations that aim to foster new work styles and approaches in their workplaces through adoption of cloud, mobile and consumer technologies.

Grove is a fully certified technology company that has been helping customers solve business problems through the innovative use of technology since 2005.

We understand to achieve your goals through transformation, you need to make sure you have access to the best technological solutions available today.

The massive advantage of our collaboration with industry leaders and world-class vendors was underlined recently when Grove-approved solutions received recognition from authoritative international industry evaluations.

Our partner Google was named a Leader in the Gartner 2017 Magic Quadrant for Content Collaboration Platforms (CCP). Gartner’s influential report evaluates vendors based on their vision and ability to execute. Gartner Magic Quadrants offer visual snapshots, in-depth analyses and actionable advice that provide insight into a market’s direction, maturity and participants.

Gartner’s stamp of approval means recognition for the way in which Google has helped millions of businesses address their content management challenges and transform the way they work by offering G Suite, which provides a set of user-friendly collaboration tools with the security, controls, and compliance every enterprise needs.

In its Magic Quadrant report on Google, Gartner noted that the company has demonstrated “a renewed approach to enterprise priorities and needs” over the past 15 months, with organisational changes and increased use of artificial intelligence technologies.

Google was commended for its rich platform APIs enabling developers to integrate existing business applications with Google Drive or build new ones leveraging their content. G Suite Marketplace provides multiple apps for integration with Google Drive.

Google also received recognition from another reputable evaluation when research firm Forrester Research Inc. named Google Cloud as the undisputed leader in the part of the market Forrester calls “Insight Platform as a Service.” Google received the highest score among all the evaluated vendors in both the current offerings and strategy categories. The report assessed eight vendors against 36 criteria of insight platform-as-a-service (PaaS) providers.

Google was singled out as the leader in the category thanks to its “comprehensive set of analytics and machine learning tools designed to fit the needs of every business.”

Forrester Consulting developed an interactive model showing the Total Economic Impact (TEI) of G Suite working with Google customers based in US, UK, Europe, Asia and Australia. Benefits of investing in G Suite included improving collaboration efficiency, management travel savings, server cost avoidance and cost savings in terms of telephony.

One of Google’s most exciting technology partners also came out tops this year when LumApps received the “Solution Innovation of the Year” award from Google Cloud Next ‘17 for its corporate intranet and social platform for businesses. Deeply integrated with G Suite, LumApps houses resources like corporate news, social communities, employee directories and go-to G Suite apps like Drive, Calendar or Gmail all in one place.

Taking the power of the Cloud even further with Chromebooks, Grove is proud of our partnership with laptop manufacturer Acer after Gartner reported that for the third year running Acer has the honour of being the top producer of Chromebooks in the world. Acer captured 28% of the Chromebook market share in 2016.

With email security and reliability being a mammoth priority for businesses, Grove’s association with another industry winner was also highlighted when email management and ransomware giant Mimecast was named a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Information Archiving for the second straight year.

Grove has taken the lead in making email safer by helping organisations and businesses successfully implement Mimecast’s cloud-based email management systems for G Suite, Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft Office 365, including security, archiving, and continuity services. In the Gartner report, Mimecast was placed highest in “ability to execute” and furthest in “completeness of vision”.

As email-borne threats become more prevalent and sophisticated, Mimecast has positioned itself as the global enemy of ransomware. Many organisations are shifting to a cyber resilience strategy to better protect their business, data and employees.

Cyber resilience is a paradigm shift in cyber security — an acknowledgement that attacks email systems are likely to continue and despite best efforts, they will sometimes be successful. Consequently, a cyber resilience strategy focuses not just on combating attacks but on ensuring continuity during an attack and fast recovery after a threat is neutralized.

For organisations implementing a cyber resilience plan for email, Mimecast offers an all-in-one suite of solutions to address risks associated with email security, enterprise archiving and email availability.

Another fruitful and productive Grove collaboration was singled out by Gartner’s Magic Quadrant when the cloud identity access pioneer Okta was recognized as a Leader in Access Management. Okta was placed highest on the ability to execute axis of all 15 companies evaluated.

With Okta, IT can manage any employee’s access to any application or device. Okta runs in the cloud, on a secure, reliable, extensively audited platform, which integrates deeply with on-premises applications, directories, and identity management systems.

The Okta solution was born of the unique challenges of how technology has grown and shifted in the growing diversity of devices, identity issues, security, employee mobility, vendor partnership, and the exponential growth of unique application options.
